What is it?
ProDeep Resurfacing is a non-ablative resurfacing laser treatment that delivers fractionated peaks of heat into the dermis, 9x deeper compared to other non-ablative lasers. It is a unique wavelength targeting sub-dermal restructuring for great results without heavy downtime.
How does it interact with skin?
The laser penetrates beyond the surface of the skin and sends peaks of fractionated energy, which transfers into heat, to the sub-dermal layers of skin. This causes the skin to immediately produce collagen for ultimately a firmer and smoother skin texture.
What’s the downtime?
The downtime can be anywhere from 2-5 days depending on how aggressive the treatment requires. Redness, swelling and squared marks on the face are all post procedural outcomes that are normal and subside within 24 hours.
How many treatments are needed?
A series of 4 treatments is recommended to start with, spaced 4 weeks apart. However, treatment series vary depending on the patient’s desired outcome.
